Getting Into Marketing (02:34) 

At first, I had these wide aspirations of making money creating music. Then I got into internet marketing when a friend of mine who was a mortgage broker asked me if I knew how to generate leads online. 

Dealing With The Ups and Downs In The Early Career (09:59) 

The biggest lesson that I have learned is that success comes with failure and with failure comes success. I think that you can’t have one without the other. As much as you think you're successful, there's always going to be something that you're going to have to overcome. 

Also, as much as good things happen, you have to stay humble.

We call ourselves a full funnel, opportunistic marketing agency. And that's because we seize opportunities. 

For example, we manage affiliate programs for large brands, but we also have our own Amazon team.

Facebook is the main acquisition source for us. So far there is no channel that provides the return that Facebook provides.

The reason why I started this podcast is that I love meeting new people and sharing my knowledge. 

A podcast is a fantastic way to connect with your audience in an authentic way. 

Running An Agency (20:46) 

One of my most important tasks is how to keep a team culture that is empowering people to really enjoy what they do. 

The number one thing that causes me stress and excitement at the same time is how to be a good leader and have a positive impact on people’s lives. 

As a manager, I have to put people in positions to be successful. 

Cultivating New Marketing Channels (23:05) 

From a solutions perspective, there is no such thing as running an agency that's stable. You are either evolving at a very fast rate or you’re not evolving at all. 

The Future For The Organisation (24:39) 

We are opening an office in New York now. We're building out our creative team and our Amazon team. The number one thing for me is also building internal learning for our team. 

We're also coming out with a course this year that we're going to be releasing specifically around each area of our business. 

Advice For Younger Marketers (27:14) 

Where you are now is no indication of where you're going. Take it day by day. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself to figure it all out in a day, a month, or a year. It's a journey.
